Today was the day officially dedicated to 

SuMMeRTiMe PReP.

I didn't even have to plan it that way. It totally just happened!

I have worked 20 weeks of EFY,
11 of which were Health Counselor weeks, 
and I have NEVER been to a day of 
HEALTH COUNSELOR TRAINING 
in my life.

2009: Hired 9 days before my first session.
(aka: there were no more trainings)
2010: Had to turn down the position, 
but ended up working for 2 weeks anyways :)

(aka: no time to train)

So TODAY I attended my FIRST
HEALTH COUNSELOR TRAINING

and it was GREAT!


1. There are only 3 Health Counselors that have ever worked for EFY before.
2. Of those three, I am the only one that has ever been a Health Counselor before.

They definitely picked the right job. haha

We ate some dinner,
witnessed a BoTTLe RoCKeT WaR,
got our ITINERARIES & PACKING LISTS,
talked about all the stuff we get to do, 
and even learned some
TAGALOG.


Then we had a BONFIRE @ CoLe's 
just like old times :) 

Thinking about this trip makes me so GIDDY :D

If I could,
I would just on a plane right now!
But since I can't, I'll just go study up on my
TAGALOG
instead :)

I don't know what it was about that year, but the group of friends I had then went to more HyPNoTiST SHoWS that year than most people go to in their entire life. 

Not only did a some of us (NaTe, BRyCe, SeaN and maybe some others) go see the HyPNoTiST in P.G. that night, but at midnight it was officially Tia's BiRTHDaY!

There were CuPCaKeS, FRoSTiNG and lots of LauGHiNG.

Especially when BReNNoN decided it was a to give her a present she never saw coming!

BReNNoN lucked out though, because apparently all it takes  is a kiss on the cheek to make up for hair and clothes full of frosting. Either that or Tia is just a really great sport!

I don't know why, but for some reason I have always split my life into different CHaPTeRS. Maybe it's because I am just a little OCD about things being organized. Maybe it's because breaking things up like that make it easier to remember. Maybe it's both. Either way, I really kind of like looking at my life like that.

The only reason I bring this up is because last night I was looking through some pictures, older ones that I hadn't seen in a while. As I was looking through them I realized just how many people, in each of those different chapters, have influenced my life as well as the experiences I've had to get me to where I am.

So I decided to start a new project.

Alrighty peeps, it's a new year and your lucky day! I've decided it's time to get the blog back up and running :) After one heck of a year, and the last insane semester, things are finally looking like they might calm down a little bit! But then again school hasn't started yet, so we'll see..

When was the last time I updated this thing?? November '08...well For those who haven't been around for it all, here's a quick update..

The people mainly mentioned in the blog up to this point are still some of my best and closest friends! I honestly can't imagine my life without them! Last New Years, TiA, BrYcE, NaTe, BrAdEn, KrIsTiN, BrAd and I went down to St GeOrGe for a couple days. If there is one thing worth mentioning, it's that we absolutely love any excuse for a RoAdTrIp!!

I fulfilled a lifetime first after that trip too! For the first time ever, I found my self riding a sNoWbOaRd! I know, I've lived in UtAh my whole life and only ever gone dOwNhiLL sKiiNg once! This was only a couple days into the new year, and by now BrEnNoN was back from HaWaII, so I hit the slopes with him and JaSoN. It was so much fun! A little cold, but definitely worth it :)

And just in case you thought I was joking about the roadtrip thing, it was only about a month later that BrEnNoN came running into PiZzAs apartment and told us we should go to DiSnEyLaNd again! Except for this time it wasn't months in advance. We're talking TwO wEeKs :D and we most definitely did! It was BrEnNoN, AlEx, KrIsTiN, BrAd, JaSoN, KaEsI, SaRaH oH and TaRa McCaIg, and I can honestly say that it was one of the funnest trips I have ever been on! It was super fast, but just loaded with great people, and all kinds of fun :)

What else has happened.. I can say that I went to the DrApEr TeMpLe OpEn HoUsE a total of at least 3, maybe 4 times. And can I just say that I absolutely love that temple!

Oh, and I can't forget one last trip! This trip lasted a total of 23 hOuRs, 21 of which were spent in a big ReD tRuCk that was rented from EnTeRpRiSe..and tRaiLeR on the back. BrEnNoN had found himself a motorcycle on eBaY, in N. CaLiFoRnIa, that he had to go pick up. There were only two problems.. the rental truck would have been super expensive if we didn't get it back in 24 hours, and BrEnNoN had a test to be back for the next day.. That meant there and back, NO STOPPING! Except for ya know food and gas. There was no way I was letting him take that trip alone. So we hopped in the truck FrIdAy mOrNiNg, and were back by SaTuRdAy MoRnInG! We still can't believe we made it home alive! Since I wasn't on the insurance I couldn't drive, which meant it was all BrEnNoN. I stayed up to make sure he did. We were both complete ZoMbIeS, i'm not even kidding. That too was my first all nighter! I've tried them before and just never been able to do it. I guess when you put two lives on the line things change a bit.

Other than that my second semester back home was random little things. TyE dYiNg shirts and wearing them to JuMp On It, 8o's DaNcInG in SlC on a school night, mOvIe NiGhTs at BrYcEs, and of course the HyPnOtiStS we seemed to become obsessed with.. just a whole lot of fun! I was still studying pHoToGrApHy at UvU, but I began to like it less and less. The program there is a lot more about fiLm pHoTo, and that just wasn't what I wanted to be in. I found that I liked photo more as a hobby, and not so much as a career. So at the end of the semester I called that one quits. But still had no idea what I wanted to go into...

If you remember my last post, I had applied to work as a BC in ReXbUrG, and didn't get hired for that. It was ok though cause I was happy being a cOuNsEloR.. well I didn't get that either :( I had talked to BrEnNoN about being a hEaLtH cOuNsElOr, and even applied. But I didn't even get a chance to interview since I wasn't 21 yet. As far as I knew, EfY was a no go that summer :( i was heartbroken.

I'd quit at AeRo cause I just couldn't take it anymore, and RoByN, one of the assistant managers, offered me a job at a new store her and her husband were opening out in AlPiNe. Summer looked like, AlEx in JeRsEy, KrIsTiN and BrEnNoN doing EfY, BrAd in IdAhO, HeAtHeR and SaRa doing EfY in the North West, and BrYcE moving to TeXas. Me, NaTe and TiA were gonna be the only ones left here. There was nothing more that I wanted to do than be working in IdAhO :(

Then BrEnNoN decided to take things into his own hands. He did so many things to get me hired, I guarantee it is because if him that things worked out! NiNe days before the first session in ReXbUrG started, his original co had dropped and DiCkSy was desperate! Technically I wasn't supposed to work because I wasn't 21, but ReXbUrG and ByU were the only two places that allowed it! I was going to be a hEaLtH cOuNsElOr in the BuRg :D I had never been so excited to work in my whole life haha :)

I got to spend my summer with some of the most incredible people! Our team did 7 weeks in ReXbUrG, and 1 in PoCaTeLLo. I even picked up 2 more weeks in PrOvO and finally fulfilled my dream of carrying a wAlKiE in PrOvO for eFy :) The summer was probably one of the hardest times of my entire life, but there were so many great things happening that kept me going. Not to mention the team I had to help me through it all.  Working back in the medical area that summer is what put me where I am right now.

After eFy ended, we took another trip to dIsNeYlAnD, then I landed right back in school. Only this time I was taking the hardest class UvU offers, and all sorts of other medical classes. I decided to become an UlTrAsOuNd tEcHnIcIaN :) Although it was the hardest semester i've ever had, I'm loving it! I've met some of the greatest girls who I spend crazy amounts of time with since we always have to be studying. Me, NaTe and PiZzA became closer than we ever had. And my cousin CaM even came back from his mission :) PiZzA and TaNnEr went on a trip down to AZ to visit, with a stop in VeGaS to visit the NeWlYwEdS :)

Looking back on the year, it's been crazy to see how everything has worked out! If BrEnNoN hadn't got me into eFy, who knows what I would be studying, or how many times i would have to switch majors again. Oh and one other thing, that boy who got me my summer job, the one i was co's with all summer,  who I went on crazy amounts of trips with, is now one of my absolute best friends! We've been together officially since the beginning of oCtObEr, but unofficially since that trip to CaLi in FeBrUaRy, and I couldn't be happier :)

I can't wait to see what the next year brings all around! Will I get into the UlTrAsOuNd program? Will i work eFy again? How many more rOaDtRiPs can we fit in? BrInG iT oN!!!!

ToDaY. ToDaY iS tHe DaY!

So tOdAy was the day I have been waiting for since, oh, let's see, wEek OnE in PrOvO. From my very fIrSt CoUpLe WeEkS into EfY, and throughout the wHoLe sUmMeR, I wanted to be a Bc for eFy. My first SiX sEsSsIoNs that I did, I sWoRe that my gOaL was to be a bC in PrOvO ( I mean, not every team gets to carry around wAlKiEs; and some of their cHaSe dOwN sToRiEs.. DaNg!) . It wasn't til the end of the summer when I worked my last tWo WeEkS, which were both in ReXbUrG that my plans changed a bit. That was where I decided I wanted to work as a bC on the ReXbUrG tEaM. The people I met during the tHrEe WeEkS I worked in ReXbUrG have undoubtedly become some of my aBsOlUtE bEsT fRiEnDs! There is no doubt on my mind that I was meant to meet all of them for a reason.

I'm going to go just a little of subject for just a second, but don't even worry! I promise I'll get back! When I was first hired as a CoUnSeLoR, I was never scheduled any weeks in ReXbUrG. I had tWo weeks in PrOvO, OnE in SlC, and tWo in CeDaR cItY. That was it. In fact, when I signed up, I signed up for pretty much everywhere in the WeStErN sTaTeS except for IdAhO cause I really didn't want to work there. At the end of week TwO in PrOvO, JoN and JiLl were telling us in BuSiNeSs MtG that they needed counselors in DiLlOn, MoNtAnA and BoIsE, IdAhO. By then all I wanted to be doing was working EfY. So I signed up.

FoUr DaYs later, I was down in St GeOrGe packing up my stuff, getting ready to move back to OrEm, when I got a PhOnE cAlL from the EfY oFfIcE offering me a week in BoIsE. They had just left a VoIcEmAiL, and I still wasn't sure if I wanted to do it. So I didn't call them back until the next morning after I had talked to my mom. I was definitely going to take it!

By the time I got ahold of them, they said that all the spots in BoIsE were full, but they did have a spot in ReXbUrG they needed to fill; so I took it! Before I knew it, I was riding up to ReXbUrG with HeAtHeR hAnSen and KrIsTiN hUmPhReY. HeAtHeR I had known from my weeks in PrOvO, but KrIsTiN I had only seen, we'd never talked or anything.

That first week in ReXbUrG was a little strange. A new pLaCe, new pEoPle. Total I knew fOuR pEoPlE, and rEcOgNiZeD one other. I just didn't know where from. Aside from HeAtHeR and KrIsTiN, I knew AnDy BrAsHeR and AmBeRlyN HuTcHiNgS. BrEnNoN mOoRe, one of the HeAlTh CoUnSeLoRs, was the one I recognized, but not well enough to ever really talk to. All fIvE of us had worked PrOvO.

I met loads of new people that week, and had a pretty good time; but I was having some major PrOvO withdrawls. Both me and KrIsTiN were. After the FrIdAy NiGhT dAnCe, both of us, who were Co's that week, were doing cOuNsElOr LiNe Up in the parking lot, and all we did was complain about how much better pRoVo was. The next morning we got to know some of the other people on the bC tEaM a little better, but by then it was to late. We were done in rExBuRg.

Obviously GoD knew that I needed to build stronger friendships with the people that were up in ReXbUrG, because FiVe WeEkS and TwO sEsSiOnS later, NaTe WoRtHeN, the CoOrDiNaToR up in ReXbUrG called me up and offered me week SiX! I was eCsTaTiC! Then in the middle of week sIx, he had another spot open up for week SeVeN; the week that KrIsTiN would be coming up for! Could life had been any better? It was during those two weeks that I really started to develop my fRiEnDsHiP with the people who are now some of my greatest friends! BrAdEn GrEeN, sPeNcEr DaHl, KaSeY bUtLeR, RiLeY wOrThEn, AlEx PiZzA, ScOtTy B; none of them had been there the first week I was there. NaTaLiE bLiSs, LyNdI bUcHaNaN, DaNi LeWiS, HeAtHeR tOdD, BrEnNoN mOoRe, NaTe WoRtHen, BrAd BeAuFoRt, SaRa WaLkEr, TiA hAmMoNd, BrYcE eVaNs; they were all there, but I wasn't very good friends with any of them. I knew who they were, and talked to some of them occasionally, but that was about it. And KrIsTiN and HeAtHeR; we would have never been the great friends we are now had we not gone up there together. What if I had never worked in ReXbUrG?? The fOuR mOnThS of my life would have been completely different! This here slideshow, is just a handful of the things I have done with my friends from the BuRg since those last TwO wEeKs. I am so glad I got the chance to rEdEeM myself!

But to get back to where I was originally going with this, on OcToBeR fIrSt I signed up to be a bC in ReXbUrG; a few days later I scheduled my interview, and on NoVeMbEr 7th, mE, AlEx and KrIsTiN went in for our interview. It's been about tWo and a hAlf weeks since then, and today I found out that I didn't make the cut for this year. But ya know what, I really wasn't all that sad about it. I'm actually sUpEr ExCiTeD to be a cOuNsElOr again! I can't wait to have that oNe on OnE with the YoUtH, to get to work with different cO-cOuNsElOrS every week, and to be back at the BuRg with all my fRiEnDs! With all the things I have been hearing about next year, cHaNgEs that are being made, the people who are being hired, there is no doubt that EfY 2o09 is going to one of the gReAtEsT yEaRs YeT!

WhErE oN eArTh DiD tHe SeMeStEr Go?!?!

Really? Are we really this close to the end of the sEmEsTeR already?? I don't know what happened, but this semester has fLoWn! Granted there are parts that haven't, but as far as classes and stuff like that, wHaT oN eArTh HaPpEnEd?! And because I'm only in class twice a week, that means I have a grand total of... are you ready for this?? FiVe ScHoOl DaYs left! Then it's FiNaLs WeEk! But can I just tell you about my finals week?? DrAwInG.. nOnE... 2D dEsIgN... nOnE... PhOtO... NoNe... GrApHiC dEsIgN... NoNe... and ArT hIsToRy... yEs.. but she cut off 7 of the 27 slides we have to know, and 1 of 2 essays because our class average went up so much on the second test we took. Basically, I am lOvInG the aRt DePaRtMeNt right now! So all in all, FiNaLs InCluDeD, I have SiX dAyS of sChOoL! ThAnKsGiViNg is in eIgHt DaYs, and the last day of finals at uVu is a month from today!

I swear time goes by faster and faster the older you get.. and I'm only nInEtEeN!

Well since today all I did was work and study for my ever so awesome ArT hIsToRy TeSt (**that was sarcastic for those of you who couldn't tell ;) **), I have officially decided to write about fRiDaY instead!

FrIdAy NoVeMbEr 7, 2o08

I'm not even gonna lie, I feel pretty good about fRiDaY! I got so much done! YaY :) I woke up and immedietely ran the fItTiNg RoOm Key (that I accidentally swiped from wOrK the night before) back to work; then ran to WaLmArT in AF (cause they were the only place that would print my pIcS! It's a LoNg, BoRiNg StOrY), and made it back in time for lUnCh with KrIsTiN and AlEx @ cOsTa ViDa (which is DeLiCiOuS by the way!!) before we all went to our Bc InTeRvIeW. All before 1! 

The only thing we had planned that day was 1)LuNcH before our InTeRvIeW, 2)OuR inTeRvIeW, and 3)Picking up BrAd from the AiRpOrT around mIdNiGhT. That was it. But this is what ended up happening!

1) After our interview we decided to go to StArBuCkS for some HoT cOcOa. It was fReEzInG outside!!!

  

We were only there for a good hour or so! I guess we are easily entertained by ourselves.. and the other crazy people that go into sTaRbUcKs.. haha 

2) What usually happens when tHrEe GiRlS get together, no boys around?? To the MaLl!

        

3) Then Alex had to go to her aPt to get ready for a bLiNd DaTe, so we went with her to her place, while mE and KrIsTiN tried to decide what to do. We knew we had to go t o SaLt LaKe to grab BrAd at some point that nIgHt.. and NaTe was up there working for the night.. so wHaT tHe HeCk? Why not hit SaLt LaKe a little early?! We just didn't know what we would do once we got there.. and this is when it gets good!

So we are sitting there in AlEx'S aPt when all of a sudden NaTe calls. We told him we would call when we got up there to come visit him, so why would he be calling now? hmm.. and that is when he tells us that he won some tickets to the JoN mClAuGhLiN cOnCeRt off the RaDiO, and since he had to work he couldn't use them :( Me and KrIsTiN were StOkEd!!! Neither one of us were really familiar with him (I had like two of his songs on my IpOd), but HeCk, it was a FrEe CoNcErT!! Before we knew it, we were headed to SlC!

We just had to figure out how to get the tickets from NaTe, cause we were already running late. He had to go drop a couple of the other tickets off in LeHi, but we wouldn't make it there in time, and he had to get back to work. But that would mean we would have to go all the way to the SaLt PaLaCe and then back to MuRrAy.. what to do..?

That's when the next call came from NaTe. He told us that he had left the tickets with a cAsHiEr at the MaVeRiCk in LeHi. What the rAnDoM?? haha :)

FiNaLlY we were able to get the fReE tickets that NaTe wOn off the rAdIo, from the rAnDoM cAsHiEr, in lItTlE lEhI to the cOnCeRt for a sInGeR we weren't even very familiar with. SpOnTaNeItY at it's best :D

4) The cOnCeRt was AmAzInG! BeNtOn PaUl, the other aRtIsT is always pHeNoMeNaL! I'd seen him before, but had no idea he was playing at this show!  

And JoN mClAuGhLiN.. WoW!! He is AmAzInG!!!  I can't get the video to load, but he is definitely worth watching! ps. one of his songs is in the playlist down at the bottom ;)

5) After that, me and KrIsTiN took off to go visit NaTe! We were just goingto say hI and then go to the AiRpOrT, but NaTe just so happened to get off work while we were on our way over, so we were just going to go pick him up and head out! When we got there though, NaTe was nowhere to be found.. and we couldn't get a hold of him... 

We sat in KrIsTiN's car for a little bit, and then decided to go to the other side of the building. While we were parked there, I tried calling NaTe again, but somehow ended up calling my other friend BrEnNoN. **I think i mixed up the SpEeD dIaL** Lets just say I was super confused when he answered! haha. Like 10 seconds after he answered this homeless guy kept telling us to roll down our window.. that thoroughly freaked us out! Two girls.. alone.. in SLC.. after dark.. it was creepy. So I told BrEnNoN, who was bowling with his friends in HaWaIi, to stay on the phone!! (not that he could have done anything anyways.. haha) We were finally able to drive off, and after about ten more minutes we just decided to go in and look for NaTe. Finally we found him and we were off to the AiRpOrT! 

6) First of all you have to understand that when ever me and KrIsTiN are together, we get lost. Every single time! No matter what! So of course we go the wrong way to the airport. We were already late, but luckily NaTe got us turned around and we pulled up right as BrAd came out. PhEw!

7) And then we all decided to go to DeNnY's! Late nights at DeNnY's with fRiEnDs is always crazy! haha. We pulled up and there were 4 cop cars searching some vehicle; we went in anyways. :) They never told us what had happened but our waitress said they have at least one fight there every night! There is always a cop on duty just sitting in their parking lot! Crazy huh?! But we had a lot, a lot of fun!!

WhElP.. LiFe NeVeR sEeMs To Go As PlAnNeD dOEs It

GoInG bAcK tO...

ThUrSdAy NoV. 6, 2o08  

Earlier in the day, I spent all sorts of time talking to my cOuNsElOr up at UtAh StATe; trying to figure out cLaSsEs, ScHoLaRsHiPs, the PhOtO pRoGrAm, all that fun stuff. But nothing seemed to be working out. If I went up there, that meant aDjUsTiNg to a whole nEw ArT hIsTorY tEaChEr (definitely not something I wanted to do again). The only way I could get a TrAnSfEr ScHoLaRsHiP was if I made the TrAnSfEr in the FaLl (last time I checked, JaNuArY wasn't in the FaLl.. just a hunch..haha). Anf the PhOtO pRoGrAm.. yeah it most definitely sounded more like an ArT hIsToRy MaJoR.. not PhOtO. It had like sIx ArT hIsToRy ClAsSeS and tHrEe PhOtO cLaSsEs! UvU was the opposite; I'm definitely more of a HaNdS oN learner! 

So the decision sounds pretty oBvIoUs right? WrOnG! I still really wanted to go to UtAh StAtE! On top of all the things I already listed, I had no idea where I was going to live, and I would have had to take out a $4,500 lOaN (bAd iDeA)! But I was ready to do it! That is how badly I wanted to go there!  I wanted to go where some of my other friends were; and I wanted it BaD!!! 

Back to ThUrSdAy.. so after a few phone calls with my cOuNsElOr, and some long talks with my MoM; I was not feeling good about UtAh StAtE.. but I didn't know how I was going to tell my friends! Deep down, I knew I couldn't go there, but I couldn't bring myself to believe it. I cOuLd StIlL mAkE iT wOrK, rIGhT?!

By the time I had to go to work, I knew exactly what I had to do. I needed to stay here; and for the most part, I was OkAy with that. I just had one sMaLl pRoBlEm still.. I didn't know how I was going to break the news to my friends. My head was mEsS my whole sHiFt. I knew that as soon as I got off work, I had to call one of my friends to tell him what I'd decided; and as much as I didn't want to break the news, I gave in and dId It. And he said eXaCtLy what I needed to hear! 

The next morning, I told a lot of my other friends, and they all were very supportive. I absolutely LoVe them all! It's amazing to me how things just seem to fall into place. Just when you think you have hit the end of your trail with no where else to go, another one that is even better seems to be laid out right in front of you. I couldn't have asked for things to go any better :)

HoOrAy FoR fIvE dAy WeEkEnDs!!

Ok, so it's been a little while since I posted anything on here. So here are some of the things that went on this week! (I don't have the pictures on my computer yet, but once they are I'll add them too!

To start off the week, my FaMiLy and I (minus DaD :( ) decided to take a SuNdAy DrIvE up PrOvO cAnYoN. I absolutely LoVe FaLl! Especially up here where there are more mOuNtAiNs. St GeOrGe was great, but FaLl up here definitely takes it!

On ThUrSdAy, I spent a good chunk of the day making ChOcOlAtE tRiFlE.  Now I'm not any incredible cook, but this desert is AmAzInG!!!! If you 

haven't ever had it, it's a must! Just click right here for the recipe! And one more thing; it's always a hit!! People who have been there when I've made it before keep begging for more. So this time I made it for a HaLlOwEeN pArTy and it was a hit once more! So for everyone out there, once you've tested this out, let me know what you think!

Later that day, I went up to LoGaN with two of my fRiEnDs, DoNnY and JiLl. Every other ThUrSdAy our friend DrU puts together a DiNnEr for the EfY cOuNsElOrS that are living up there.  We definitely don't go every

 time, but when we do.. LiFe Is GoOd

 :D I got to see a lot of fRiEnDs, and even had time to go visit my old rOoMmAtE eMiLy (which I didn't get to do last time since I didn't do the driving). Even after that, I still had time to go visit one of my sUpEr GoOd fRiEnDs, KrIsTy. 

It was FaBuLoUs :D Then around ElEvEn ThIrTy, we headed back to OrEm. 

Now for HaLlOwEeN!!! Last night was so much fun! TiA came down from ReXbUrG and had an AmAzInG mUrDeR mYsTeRy DiNnEr put together!! She made the whole thing up herself and in was OuTsTaNdInG! We were running through that house! It was such a great night!! 

Other than that, it was a typical work and school week. So all in all, this weekend was an A+! 

oFf To ThE bUrG!!

WEll, i promised pics  from my fall break trip to the BuRg, so here we go! I'm just going to start off by saying that at this time last year 1) I was living St. GeOrGe, 2) My FaLl BrEaK was spent in PhOeNiX. Now I am living in OrEm (soon to be LoGaN) and my FaLl BrEaK is being spent in ReXbUrG.. OpPoSiTe MuCh?? haha. what on earth am i thinking?!?! haha i guess you could say i like change...  :) 

Well, anywho.. DaY oNe at the BeRg was FaBuLoUs!!  For those of you who didn't know, this summer I worked as an eFy CoUnSelOr, FiVe WeEkS all over UtAh and ThReE in ReXbUrG. Needless to say, I aBsOlUtElY lOvEd It!!!!! Luckily some of the friends I made live here in the OrEm/PrOvo area, but we most definitely left some behind in ReXbUrG. So that is why we decided to go up. My friends SaRa and NaTe came up with me, and then two of our other friends BrAdEn and NaTaLiE came up from LoGaN. It was one FaNtAbUlOuS rEuNiOn :)

Now for some HiGhLiGhTs from the TrIp:

1) NaTe playin' DJ on our way up! Everytime we go on a trip, NaTe makes a new Cd for the drive. On top of that, part way into IdAhO, he decided that we needed to listen to one song from every GeNrE on my IpOd.. we made it through two kinds of AlTeRnAtIvE.. then decided to start at the bottom of the list. It was funny :)

2) This one couldn't have been any more coincidental! First off, this summer after our last week of EfY, a huge group of 70+ cOuNsElOrS took a trip to DiSnEyLaNd for a week, which is where the PiCtUrE I am holding in the PiCtUrE below was taken. 

So shortly after we got to DaNi'S apartment, I was back in her room with her and we brought out that picture. I handed it to BrAdEn cause he wanted to look at it. A few seconds later, he got my attention and said "I recognize that shirt!" pointing at me, and the pointing at himself he said "and I recognize this shirt!" We were both wearing the same exact shirt we had been wearing DaY 2 in DiSnEyLaNd! Naturally we had to take a PiC :) 

3) The dinner DaNi made for us :) I just love college!! We had some good ol' MaC n' ChEeSe! and stepping it up from the typical college meal, she made us this ChIcKeN feTtUcInI, along with some very ripe bananas and yummy ClEmEnTiNeS :D 

4) Playing ImAgInIfF!!!! If you have never played this game, you most definitely NeEd to! Not should if you want, but you NeEd to play this game! It is so funny to play, and works so much better when everyone knows everyone! But seriously, it is such a fun game!!

5) When KaTiE and LiNdSeY got there, and somehow we ended up doing TwO of the EfY dances in DaNi'S lIvInG rOoM.. that tends to happen quite often with us.. haha. We just like to SpOnTaNeOuS practice on the OfF sEaSoN :D

6) Next it was to CrAiGo's (the local PiZzA dInEr) for CoOkIe MoNsTeRs. They are basically the same as NeVeR oN sUnDaEs from PiZzA fAcToRy.. which if you haven't had, you need to try those too! Super yummy ChOcOlAtE cHiP cOoKiE covered in VaNiLlA iCe CrEaM, WhIpPeD cReAm, ChOcOlAtE and CaRaMeL! mMmMm!

8) Going to CrAiGo's again! But this time there were a lot more of us.. TwElVe or ThIrTeEn of us to be exact! and we actually got real food this time. That is if a PiZzA bUfFeT could be considered real food.. haha

adjustment! They definitely had no curfew at DiXiE!

9) ChUrCh at TiA's ward was definitely a tReAt.. VeRy EnTeRtAiNiNg 

to say the LeAsT!!

All in all, it was such a fun trip! There is nothing I love more than to

travel with my friends! Especially these guys! There is most definitely 

NeVeR a DuLl MoMeNt!!! 

NeW bLoG.. FaLl BrEaK... LoVe It!!

You know what I love about CoLlEgE! Aside from the awesome FrIeNds, and times where I should probably study, but usually end up PlAyInG instead... I LoVe that you can arrange your ScHeDuLe in almost any way you want! This semester my schedule has been SuPeR nIcE! Granted I'm at school from EiGhT aM to SiX-tHiRtY pM, I only have TwO days of school! MoNdAy and WeDnEsDaY! So this week, while everyone is super excited for FaLl BrEaK, I'm sorry to tell them that EvErY wEeK is FaLl BrEaK for Me :D

But I am super excited that the rest of my FrIeNdS are out! This weekend (don't ask what we were thinking), me and a bunch of friends decided it was time to leave this ever so WaRm weather.. and head up to the wonderful land of ReXbUrG! Crazy, I know.. but it's gonna be a PaRtY!!!! We're off to visit the rest of our EfY bUdDiEs, and sit in ChApMaN lOuNgE to reminisce about old times hAhA :) I'll probably have SnOw up to my BeLlYbUtToN.. but it'll all be worth it! And no worries, there will be PiCs! And LoTs of 'em :D "FaLl BrEaK" here I come!!
